VISION
STM, LLC vision is to create a future where every youth and young adult, regardless of their background, can explore the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), by equipping and empowering them with the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive leading to a more equitable, dynamic, and thriving society driven by innovative minds.
STM, LLC vision is committed to developing and coaching youth and young adult professionals and paraprofessionals who can address the nation’s STEAM needs. The program will provide innovative and personalized coaching and mentoring support to each participant to implement effective critical thinking, problem solving, and evidence-informed approaches through training, certification, and mentoring. We will do this by being one of the leading programs in the state, with recognition of innovative youth and young adult program development and strategic post-graduation and career planning.
To achieve this, STM, LLC goals are to educate prepare, broaden, and motivate our students and participants by fostering confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose and determination to unlock their full potential to pursue careers in STEAM fields aimed to help diagnosis, discover, and provide new innovative results, knowledge, and information and to apply it for the betterment of a more inclusive future for all humanity.
MISSION
The mission of STM, LLC is to ignite and cultivate the imaginations of underserved youth and young adults by providing hands-on STEAM enrichment activities, training, and support resources that inspire, educate, and empower. Through interactive and engaging experiences and training, we aim to bridge the educational gap and foster a lifelong love for learning among these youth and young adult minds so that each participant can self-actualize their full potential. Our passionate instructors, facilitators, coaches and mentors will not only teach but will also serve as role models that help youth and young adults realize their dreams and maximize their potential.
We will achieve our mission and recruit, educate, mentor and prepare a diverse pool of youth and young adults that demonstrate the capacity, potential, interest, and skillsets to become successful in the STEAM arenas for college, careers, and professions while demonstrating high ethical and moral standards and the utmost in technical competence.
